The new big target of Google is to allow each website to be visible as webVR with the new project Chromium.
WebVR support is available as experimental flag in chrome://flags/#enable-vr-shell only. But is expecting to change the way of how we browse the Internet, in the near future. In order to enable access to the WebVR APIs in these builds you must turn on the “Enable WebVR” flag in about:flags or launch from the command line with –enable-webvr.
François Beaufort from Google said, the Chrome Beta and Chrome Dev channels will have additionally added new settings, that the user will be able to activate and change the way of internet surfing into virtual reality, using Cardboard or Daydream-ready viewers.
And this is just the beginning. The entirely new platform of google Daydream (for high quality mobile virtual reality) coming in Fall 2016.
WebVR will be the new way of internet surving and visuailization of the information.
